We explored the effects of calcium deposition in the rotator cuff tendons on frozen shoulder, particularly in cases where calcific tendinitis was present. The study involved 32 patients who underwent a specialized procedure combining arthroscopic brisement of the shoulder joint with multiple punctures at the calcific site. This innovative approach aimed to alleviate the pain and restore mobility linked to frozen shoulder.
After following up with the patients for two years, we observed that 30 out of 32 patients reported satisfactory outcomes. While five individuals still showed some postoperative calcium deposits, many experienced significant improvements in their range of motion and relief from pain. This suggests that combining treatment methods can enhance recovery, although we recognize that the isolated effect of calcium treatment alone remains unclear.
Overall, this study contributes valuable insight into managing frozen shoulder, especially when associated with calcific tendinitis, even if it doesn't fully isolate the impact of calcium treatment.

Suffering from frozen shoulder, I found I wasn't getting satisfactory results from Western herbal treatments. I discovered the importance of calcium and magnesium from my orthopaedic surgeon, which has made a significant difference. I received expert advice and found it cost-effective.
